Shadow Puppetry
Drama | 15m | 2025
I am the director and screenwriter of Shadow Puppetry, a short film about a teenage boy, Luca, trapped under his father Daniel’s strict study schedule, where alarms and rules turn daily life into obedience. When Luca rebels and destroys the shadow puppets on the wall, their conflict erupts—until the roles reverse and Daniel is revealed as a puppet too, weakened by pressure, fear, and illness. Blending realism with symbolic fantasy, the film uses red strings, shadows, and puppetry to explore control, generational trauma, and the struggle for freedom inside a family.
Starring
Andy Anson, Alexander Evans

The Beast Couple
Fiction Film | 4m | 2022
I am the director and screenwriter of the short film The Beast Couple. This film chronicles the journey of a married couple, Bird Taylor and Fox Smith, from sweet romance to utter disintegration. Employing metaphorical montage techniques, the film interweaves human subjects with animals depicted on television screens, aiming to reveal humanity's irrational and bestial aspects through a formalist aesthetic approach.
Starring
Benji John Paget, Madline Bejat

Tools Man
Black Humor | 5m | 2024
I am the director and screenwriter of Tools Man, a darkly comic and absurd short film set in a minimalist living room on a quiet weekend afternoon. Daniel receives a delivery he ordered online—a “table”—but inside the box is a masked human-like figure, packaged like a product with an instruction manual. He forces the Tools Man to “act like furniture,” covering him with a white cloth and piling plates, wine, and cutlery onto his back. As the pressure builds, silence turns into rebellion, chaos erupts, and the power dynamic violently reverses. Through physical performance and sharp satire, the film questions how easily people treat others as disposable tools for comfort and control.
Starring
Harvie Slater, Leon Pena
