I am the director and screenwriter of Tools Man, a darkly comic and absurd short film set in a minimalist living room on a quiet weekend afternoon. Daniel receives a delivery he ordered online—a “table”—but inside the box is a masked human-like figure, packaged like a product with an instruction manual. He forces the Tools Man to “act like furniture,” covering him with a white cloth and piling plates, wine, and cutlery onto his back. As the pressure builds, silence turns into rebellion, chaos erupts, and the power dynamic violently reverses. Through physical performance and sharp satire, the film questions how easily people treat others as disposable tools for comfort and control.
